Lorenia Castillo
Director| Lead Teacher|
Our Director and Lead teacher , Mrs. Lorenia Castillo brings over 18 years of experience in the childcare and education field. She holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education: Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University and has a rich background as the former owner of Creative Little Hands Daycare. Mrs. Castillo has also served as an instructional aide at Honiss School, where she worked closely with young special education learners in a classroom setting.
Beyond education, she is an Associate Pastor at her local church, a gospel recording artist and songwriter, a former theater actress, and a published author. Most importantly, she is a dedicated mother of three young children, which brings both professional and personal insight into her leadership. In addition, Mrs. Castillo also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry from the Dominican Republic, adding to her diverse academic accomplishments.

Mallerlyn Zucco, BA ASFP MST
Volunteer
Mrs. Zucco holds a Bachelor’s in Law and Accounting and a Master’s in Taxation, with over 7 years of professional experience in accounting and tax practices. She now serves as a volunteer at GLO Christian Academy, supporting students as a math tutor and enrichment workshops such as business builders and more.
Alongside her professional expertise, Mrs. Zucco is also an associate pastor with her husband at their local church, where they focus on family and marriage counseling. Her heart for ministry and education makes her a valuable part of our GLO community.

Nicauris Ubiera, MA, LPC
Mental health counselor | Enrichment Teacher| Lead Teacher
Nicauris works with children, adolescents and teens who are dealing with depression, anxiety, anger management and life adjustments. She works with families and parents providing tools and communication skills to help parents understand and help their children to better cope with difficult stages in life. She has experience in working with children, adolescents and teens for over 10 years and worked for the Department of Education in New York City for 7 years.
Nicauris received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling at Nyack College and is currently pursuing her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Fielding University.
